Chruches of the Fresco's - In Glendale Springs North Carolina
Blue Ridge Parkway - It can be picked up just out of Boone or at the edge of the mountain on 194 east headed toward Wilksboro NC.
Boone North Carolina - One of the larger towns with Appalachian State University, and many shops to wonder throught on main street and also on the bypass around town. Streets are getting wider in parts of town.
White Top Mountain - Just across the line in Vergina

Grayson Highlands State Park
high amid the Appalachian Mountains adjacent to Mount Todgers National Recreation Area which is a part of the Jefferson National Forest.
The Appalachian Trail winds thorugh the Nothwest corner of the park befor crossing Mount Rogers. which is the highest point in Va. elivation 5729 feet.
Visitor center and reconstructiond cabins within the park recapture the lives of the hardy pioneers wo settled the rugged land.
